WWII British WAAF / RAF Women's NCO Peaked Cap. The cap is roughly a size 7. The cap still retains its original chin strap and cap badge. In overall excellent, wearable condition with very little fading and wear and tear. Nice overall piece, perfect for any women's collector.

History: the Womens Auxillery Air Force operated between 1939-1949, with over 180,000 women enlisting to help free up men for RAF Combat roles. WAAF members served in vital roles including radar operation, codebreaking, aircraft maintenance, and flight plotting during critical operations like the Battle of Britain.
