WWI Italian Model 1910 Baracca Style Flight Crash Helmet. This style of helmet was used by Italian Pilots during the Italo-Turkish War and World War I. They also saw combat in the first-ever air raid by the Italians in 1911. The helmet is in excellent condition with all leather still intact and the sweatband and liner showing good age and wear. Chinstrap is intact with both buttons still present. US pilots also used them when being trained by Italian pilots in Foggia, Italy. An all-around nice and rare piece with a great bit of history.
